
Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach signed Marcus Thuram, a 21-year-old left-winger from Guingamp. The athlete was sold by €9M to Gladbach.
Thuram scored 17 goals in 72 appearances for the Ligue 1 club – 13 of which came last season. Adding also to it there are 4 assists.
The Germans have already secured striker Breel Embolo, from Schalke 04 and Stefan Lainer from RB Salzburg.
Marcus began his career in Sochaux, before moving to Guingamp in 2017. The under 21 French international, is the son of 1998 World Cup winner Lilian Thuram, a defender who played for Juventus and Barcelona. His younger brother, Khephren, is also a football player, currently in Nice.
